I know it's nothing too serious but I got used to zooming and moving around quickly and now it makes me feel a bit "stuck" Before I just had to hold the mouse button and drag to move around without changing the tool I'm using. The closest way I found was hitting "H" on the keyboard, move around and then go back manually to the tool I was using before, it is quite annoying.
But I can't find a way to do the same on illustrator. When using gimp I could use the middle mouse button to move around the image (I ended up binding it on a side button of my mouse, more convenient) it was extremely useful it allowed me to move around very quickly and easily. I am currently learning with a few amazing tutorials, so I'm a beginner making progress, Illustrator is quite amazing but there's one thing that bothers me a lot.

Maybe you want to use four-finger taps for middle-click instead, so you can keep using the dictionary function. Head to System Preferences again, then head to “Users and Groups”.Ĭlick the “Login Items” tab, and you’ll see a list of applications that start up when you log in.Ĭlick the “+” below this list and you can add MiddleClick to the list. But there’s no option to do so in MiddleClick itself: you need to do it manually from macOS’ settings. If you want MiddleClick to start everytime you boot up your Mac, you can do that. Once you uncheck this, you’re ready to start middle-clicking! Tap any link with three fingers and it will open the background.
